Drawing and coloring the pictures for this fresh deck has at times been like pulling teeth. Well, not exactly but I don’t consider myself an artist and choosing images, as well as how to juxtapose them, often became draining.

However, the new system seemed to work well with people and I wanted to make it available for those interested in benefiting from it. Then at least the psychological / philosophical impetus Deni and I first created 30 years ago would continue though she died. However, despite the set back of grief, remarkable metaphors still continue, sometimes amusing and at other times disturbing or both, but always profound if used for deeper understanding. In my humble view, the unconscious always oversees the waking mind, whether we like it or not. What I mean is the unconscious comprehends the bigger picture. That’s my main motivation all through this process – see the bigger picture within and go from there.

So if in any small way this tool can help curious individuals see the bigger picture within themselves, I’ll be grateful and couldn’t ask for a greater gift, whatever unfolds from here on out.
